Jack Bauer of the Fox television series "24" never leaves home without it.

"I prefer to call it a messenger bag," says John Ottaviano, director of sales and marketing for Rothco, a supplier of military and outdoor products. "The 'Jack Bauer' style of bag is a popular seller for us. This bag has been a top seller for bike messengers in New York City, but when you put it on an iconic figure like Jack Bauer, the trend goes wild."
