United Way fund-raiser.
From 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dillard's is previewing its store as a fund-raiser for the United Way. For $20, shoppers will be let in a day before the new mall opens, have a chance to win shopping sprees, cosmetic baskets, wardrobes and jewelry. Fashion shows, complimentary skincare consultations and free makeup applications will be available. Ticket sales will go directly to United Way. Tickets are available at US Bank, Nevada State Bank, Wells Fargo, John Ascuaga's Nugget and at the United Way office at 811 Ryland Ave. For more information, call the United Way at 322-8668.

Kathy Van Zeeland cracks me up with her never-ending directory of quirky handbag names. There's the Enjoyable , the Erotic Back , and now the Hot Stud.

I'm not as per usual unequivocally effective what it is about each bag that inspires the unusual names, but this Hot Stud satchel is a spoonful more open than some. Van Zeeland's discredit is conservative on mode with the increasingly normal studded detail that adorns the front and sides of this satchel.

The enchanting article about this use of the fashionable hallmark is that it is not reduced to one metallic pitch. In lieu of, the Hot Stud mixes things up with some silvery and some rudeness-like tones combined in a unspecific, almost-casual genus of way down the front panel of the bag. I keep thoughtful that there must be some covert logo or other lettering in the positioning of the colors, but I've yet to find one. It appears that the detail is barely indefinite for the objectives of being bizarre, and I gentle of like that.
