Michael Kors sent his spring/summer 2012 collection down the New York Fashion Week runway today. The collection was filled with natural colors, splashes of deep orange, safari inspired prints and two handbag styles worth noting; the cross body bag and the fanny pack.

The cross body bag was shown on both male and female models throughout Michael Kors runway show. The handbag was made from canvas, exotic skins or leather and was given a slouchy hobo silhouette; making the cross body bag casual in nature. The cross body bags were shown in neutrals such as cream and chocolate brown. The exotic skin was shown in mustard which was not too bright, making the hue easy to wear as an alternative to brown.

The fanny pack on the spring 2012 runway features a thick leather belt and rectangular bag worn by the models off-center and in the front. The fanny pack was in theme with the safari vibe of Michael Kors show and offered a hands free way of exploring new lands or going on safari! Michael Kors designed his spring 2012 fanny pack in a neutral, medium brown making the bag an easy neutral color which can integrate into anyone wardrobe. Michael Kors used both exotic skin and smooth leather for his spring 2012 fanny pack.

Are Michael Kors handbags good quality?
