Marcia Moore hadn't planned on buying anything during her lunch break, but there she was at Somerset Collection CityLoft in downtown Detroit, trying to decide between two Michael Kors handbags.

One was a practical black patent, and the other was much flashier -- a shiny gold.

"What one do you like better?" Moore, who works at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, asked her friend and co-worker.

"That one," said Naomi Howard of Southfield.

Moore of Macomb Township took Howard's advice and bought the gold bag, for about $300. "I'm a shopper," she said. "Purses, clothes, cosmetics, you name it."

Moore was in the right place Thursday -- opening day for CityLoft, downtown Detroit's most significant shopping destination in more than two decades.

The mini-versions of about 40 upscale stores at 1441 Woodward opened at 10 a.m. At one point, 60-80 shoppers stood in line on Woodward Avenue to get inside; only 100 people could shop at a time.

Is my Coach Wristlet fake?

G M answered: Coach IS made in China,so that does not stinting it is fake.Small items do have a small "made in China" tag united to the side on the inside,and there is plain blue fabric lining in some collections.
That does not stand behind that it is authentic,though,either.Some fakes look close to the real thing.If you are still wondering,please employment a picture,that may help in determining.Hope this helps!
