Teamed up with Matches fashion boutique to host an intimate evening of retail therapy at No.23, Matches' opulent home in central London dedicated to private shopping. Standing beside rails of the catwalks' most colourful looks, the very glamorous Ruth Chapman, co-founder of Matches, presented a workshop on how to incorporate colour into your wardrobe.

50 readers who won a ticket to the event by entering our competition listened avidly as Chapman talked them through carefully edited rails of clothes in a rainbow of colours, from Chapman's favourite spectrum of reds and rusts, to an emerald green dress by Marc Jacobs to a very flattering claret draped satin number by Roksanda Ilincic, and a wonderful multi-coloured print dress by Erdem. London's hottest designers have made some of the season's best kaleidoscopic dresses including Jonathan Saunders, Mary Katrantzou, and Holly Fulton. The best bright coats are by Burberry and MaxMara.
